Presentation and Talk with Prof. Caroline Friedel (LMU Munich)

On Thursday, July 4th. the university welcomes Prof. Caroline Friedel from the LMU Munich. Her lecture at the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science is located in the field of computer science and integrates a biological topic:

“Deciphering the interplay between virus-induced read-through transcription, RNA decay and loss of transcription in HSV-1 lytic infection“

The lecture primarily addresses employees and students and is part of the Women in Science Program of the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science. After a following general discussion, there will be specific questions about career development, women in science, gender equality and more.
We are looking forward to seeing both numerous familiar and new faces!
